Cowboys Make Playoffs with a WIN Tonight
December 27th, 2009 | by donpotts21 |After the Giants got blown out by the Panthers this afternoon, a Cowboys victory tonight punches their ticket for the playoffs. The Cowboys could not have asked for a better post-Christmas gift from the Giants. In a game where they were celebrating the closing of Giants Stadium, the defense surrendered over 40 points to a below average Panthers offense.
As for tonight’s game, expect the Cowboys to come out aggressive early against a dysfunctional Redskins team. The feeling is, if you can jump on the Redskins early, they will fold. This has been a great rivalry for years, so do not expect the Redskins to lay down for the Cowboys.
Martellus Bennett and Deon Anderson are a game-time decision but are likely to play.
